Two Decades of Growth
In 1991, with over 20 years of experience working in the electronics industry, Mark A. Walsh started Rogue Engineering as a one-man consulting firm from a workshop located in the basement of his home.
Mark’s initial focus for Rogue Engineering was on designing and developing ultra-low power controls for the Oil and Gas Industry. It was during this time that Mark began to see a need for a Solar Battery Charge Controller optimized for off-grid use.
Mark leased his first commercial building in 1993. Shortly thereafter, he restructured Rogue Engineering as a Colorado Corporation. In 1994, he moved into an even larger commercial space, hired his first assembly crew and began manufacturing in house to ensure product quality.
As the company’s growth continued, in 2001, Rogue Engineering purchased its current 8,000 square foot location in Englewood, Colorado. Today, Rogue Engineering has more than 20 employees and continues to develop, design and manufacture custom controls and a full line of Solar Battery Charge Controllers used in a variety of industries.
